These Terms apply to your use of Crumbtally ("the App"), published by Sloth Lab ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Crumbtally helps you estimate ingredient costs and selling prices for recipes. The App is currently free, with no ads and no in-app purchases, and it works without an account. You may use it for personal purposes and for running your own business (for example, pricing the baked goods you sell).

We may introduce paid features or plans in the future. If we do, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before any payment is introduced, and any purchase will always be your choice. Your recipes stay yours: you will always be able to export the data you entered with the App's backup feature.

2. Calculations are estimates — please check them

The App calculates costs and suggested prices from the numbers you enter, plus built-in unit conversions and ingredient densities. Density-based conversions (for example, cups to grams) are approximations and can differ from your actual ingredients by several percent.

• You are responsible for the prices you set and for checking that the results suit your situation.
• The App does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, or food-safety advice, and it does not check whether you comply with laws that apply to selling food (such as cottage food rules).

3. Your data and backups

Your recipe data is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We do not keep a copy, so we cannot recover it if your device is lost, reset, or the App is deleted. Please use the App's backup export to keep your own copies. You keep all rights to the content you enter.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law, and not to use it for unlawful purposes or to interfere with its operation.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, and built-in data (excluding content you create) belong to Sloth Lab or its licensors. Built-in ingredient density data is derived from public sources credited in the App; third-party licenses are listed under the App's licenses screen.

6. App stores

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies; Apple is not responsible for the App or its support. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of calculations, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sloth Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, pricing decisions, or lost data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date, and continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
